“We had invited Mrs. Deepa Rao from Strelitzia Consulting for a career guidance and student counseling session for the students of Grade VIII and X. Her sessions were very well received by the students, intercepted with many questions, positive interaction, and applause. Her session was very well structured, taking the audience through a well laid out approach, addressing pertinent questions, doubts, and suggesting a very relatable and applicable action plan. She equipped students on a framework on how to access their choices of board selection, subject selection, and the way forward as they enter the crossroads of career choices.
Her session was a deep dive into traditional and new-age careers which most students had not been exposed to until then. The students freely discussed their worries and confusion regarding board selection, subject selection, assessing their interest, etc.
Her session has exposed students to a roadmap to various academic choices- board selection, subject selection, approaching exams, evaluating interests, etc. to name a few.
Our students and faculty have benefited from her workshop, and we hope to have many more such sessions for our successive batches???.
Mrs. Deepa Rao had conducted two workshops in our school one was on Career orientation for the 11th and 12th graders and the other was how to love maths for the eighth graders. Both the workshops were well received and inspired children. It taught them how to deal with problems with the right attitude and fired them with enthusiasm. We are impressed with her sincerity and dedication and hope that she will conduct many such workshops in our school in the near future.
