Madniya Mozawala is a passionate visual artist and has been working in this field for over 8 years. Her work not only includes paintings on canvas and paper but also walls.
She is currently working with the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya museum as a Restorer of easel paintings since the last 7 years. As a conservator-restorer, Madniya has worked across diverse materials like oil paintings, contemporary paintings, manuscripts, miniature paintings, paintings on cloth, prints on paper, ivory, bone, stone and polychrome on wood.
She has also provided technical support for national and international exhibitions for various institutions such as : Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, Mumbai; GVK MIAL (Mumbai International Airport Limited); Piramal Museum of Art; Anupam Heritage Lab Pvt. India Ltd.; HIMSHACO (Himalayan Society for Heritage and Art Conservation; Godrej, Hindustan Unilever Pvt., Ltd., etc.
Madniya loves identifying and shaping new talent and spends her free time in teaching children and young adults. Her unique teaching style has resulted in children becoming passionate about art and experimenting with new mediums and ideas.
